Here’s a hard truth. When you become a public figure, you open yourself up to public speculation and scrutiny.
Attention Is Not A Light Switch
I have seen countless posts and comments slamming people for speculating on the whereabouts of Kate Middleton. Here are just a few comments I gleaned from youtube and facebook.
Princess Catherine is a public figure. It is just the reality that when she stepped into the public spotlight that she opened herself up to relentless questioning and speculation. The public is curious and they will ask. Wishing it wasn’t so won’t change the facts.
Kate married into one of the most public families on earth. Perhaps she didn’t realize before she said, “I do” what she was signing up for and all she would give up. She chose it nonetheless and there is no automatic or temporary off button simply because she is sick.
Can Someone Escape The Spotlight?
Let’s pretend for a moment that Meghan and Harry actually did want privacy. Hilarious, I know. But I said we were pretending. Could they have achieved it? I believe yes. Had they moved to a small town and kept a low profile they could have had some semblance of a normal life. No public social media posts, no interviews, no podcasts or Netflix deals, and no book publications. After enough time had passed, they would have likely been able to go about their lives similar to how “normal” people do. But they didn’t. They chose to broadcast their personal affairs to the world in exchange for money and attention. And thus the world was involved.
Right to Medical Privacy
Does Kate have a right to medical privacy even though she is a public figure and a royal? Absolutely! She is under no obligation to share. And the public has every right to ask. There are no laws being broken here. People are curious and will speculate. We ask and she can say no or say nothing. Again, this is just the reality. Kate has a right to medical privacy but wishing people wouldn’t speculate is like standing on a beach trying to pick and choose which waves hit the shore. It’s naive at best and insanity at worst.
The Truth Puts Out Rumors Faster Than Lies
Can you really blame the media for selling their columns? Princess Catherine is the darling of the UK. If they can sell the story, they will print it. In my opinion, this story was largely uninteresting. Uninteresting until I realized we were all being gaslit to the extreme.
Yes, she had abdominal surgery and needs time to recover. It was announced she would not be seen till Easter. Most normal people were satisfied with that explanation. Perhaps they’d tune in a little to the media noise but few would take it seriously. Then Kensington Palace started with the fake releases…

I have a suggestion, if you want people to believe that all is well, try not releasing AI generated materials and using stunt doubles. Why lie? What is the motivation? If the goal is to calm speculations, the royals are doing a bang up job. They just poured gasoline on the fire!
Where Is Kate?
I have no earthly clue. I don’t know why the palace is being so dishonest. As Kate was never seen leaving the hospital I believe it is most likely she is still there in some vegetative state or has suffered a serious complication they do not want to make public at this time. Do I think she is dead? It’s possible. This isn’t the first time the royals have done shady stuff. *coughs*diana! Kate was quit proud of getting the COVID vaccination and more and more evidence comes out every day of what a disastrous decision that was for millions. Maybe she does really have cancer and is quietly recovering at home. If if that’s true, WHY. LIE?
And don’t tell me it was because she needed time to process and tell her children. Needing time to process and tell your children only explains silence. It does not excuse releasing fake footage and lying to the public like we’re idiots.
I smell a rat.
And to those calling “shame”, let’s not pretend you’re not keeping up with this story as much as the rest of us.
